I've worked quite a lot with Finnish dark fusion bellydancers in the last few years and now I got a chance to be part of the biggest event in the scene in Finland.
Everything started with the logo and a short photoshoot where I took both photos and some video. Both only to be used as a referrence for the final art.
Logo project end up being quite simple as the 3 organizers all had pretty good idea that they wanted the logo to be something gothic. So I made them few variations and the winning version end up being the black metal band style logo above.
The visuals took a while because I originally shot some video that I was supposed to use to track still image. But it looked too complex and I went trough a more simpler idea by just cutting the still images in pieces and animating everything separately to get the puppet like effect we wanted. Still graphics are mix from my own photography and digital painting.
THE BACKGROUND VISUALS
This was quite honestly a last minute project I got done while the taxi was wating for me downstair to drive me to the event. Each act of the show got its own animation for the artist name reveal in similar style as this one with the PIMENTO logo.
SOCIAL MEDIA CONTENT
Social media content included a bunch of different assets for the event page, stories, feed posts and I also made a digital signage ad to the venue monitors.
On top of creating still images to be used in social media. I also created a few animated version. Illustrations include the 3 dancing organizers like a witch coven.

I also made some merch for the event trough 3rd party print-on-demand company.
Overall interesting project to be part in and I'll be joining the PIMENTO crew again in 2024 with tons of new ideas.
